Time to GoPro at Mobile World Congress

The GoPro Hero 3 Black+ made a big splash at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. The on-the-go camera was recognized by CNET as a "waterproof gadget that caught their eye." GoPro also announced that they will be coming out with a new line of attachments for musical instruments.

The GoPro Hero 3 Black+ camera is a small, lightweight, and waterproof video camera that records professional quality videos and can capture 12 MP stills at up to 30 frames per second. There is a new auto low light feature on the GoPro 3 Black+ that will change the frame rate automatically depending on light conditions. It is 20% smaller than any of the other GoPro models but with 30% more battery life.

There are a number of different mounts and harnesses to capture all your adventures. There is a helmet mount for the extreme skateboarder or BMX rider, A chest harness that you could possibly wear while doing something like kayaking or sky diving, there is even a Surfboard mount. As I mentioned before GoPro is now coming out with a line of mounts for musical instruments so you can capture every rocking moment.

As a journalist this camera would be perfect. It would allow me to capture video and ask my questions and report all at once. The size and the mounts would free up my hands to do other things, and the quality would still allow me to produce good visuals for my newscasts.

Here's a video of the GoPro at work. For more information on the GoPro line you can check out there website.
